Summer School on Migration and Integration 2013
The Summer School on Migration and Integration 2013 was organized in cooperation with the University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice from Sunday to Friday 1-6 September 2013.
The US expert was Mr. S. Romi Mukherjee who teaches at Sciences Po-Paris. Further distinguished lecturers were Mr. Dusan Drbohlav from the Charles University Prague, Mr. Michal Vašečka from Masaryk University in Brno, Mr. Salim Murad from EMMIR program from University of South Bohemia and representative of the Ministry of Interior. The praxis of EU policies was presented by guests from Austria (Municipality of Vienna department MA 17 for integration and diversity) and Portugal (ACIDI - High Commissioner for Immigration and Intercultural Dialogue Portugal).Other professionals from academia and non-governmental sector were invited to present their lectures and workshops at this year Summer School.
The Summer School is designed for Czech students, Czech young professionals from NGOs, state and local administration etc., and for a limited number of international students and young professionals.
