Support to the migration and border management in Georgia and Moldova (2006)

The project was designed to enhance control over the illegal movement of migrants to and through the territory of Georgia and Moldova. At the same time the project proposed development of a modern migration management system facilitating the flow of legal migration. Project activities thus included several types of trainings and seminars, delivered by Czech migration experts, who shared their experience and knowledge with identified representatives from Georgia and Moldova. Training of both Georgian and Moldovan experts in the Czech Republic was organized in June 2006. Seminars and trainings in Georgia and Moldova were organized during fall 2006. A part of the project was production and distribution of  the handbook summarizing main training topics with the goal to increase capacity of border management training system in both countries.
