In recent years, the number of foreigners coming to the Czech Republic for labor purposes has been steadily increasing. In the long-run, IOM attempts to assist the Government to set up the system in order to be beneficial both to foreigners, as well as to Czech society. One of the results of effective system shall be also decrease in illegal employment of foreigners in the country. Starting from 2003, IOM Prague and twelve IOM missions subsequently implemented information campaign to the pilot project Active Selection of Qualified Foreign Workers funded by Ministry of Labor on the basis of Governmental Resolutions.
The main aim of the campaign which was finished in April 2008 was to spread information about the pilot project with the intention to motivate qualified foreign workers from the selected target countries to enter the project.
