The Summer School on Migration Studies 2015

<p>The Summer School on Migration 2015 was&nbsp;held in cooperation with the University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice from 17-22 August. The program was&nbsp;designed for students (both graduate and undergraduate) as well as young professionals in migration field from abroad with various professional and personal backgrounds.&nbsp;The program was based on the multidisciplinary approach and offers a combination of theoretical lectures and examples of good practice presented by local and international academics, activists, representatives of NGOs, but also governmental and intergovernmental organizations (IOM,&nbsp;Czech Development Agency, Ministry of Interior, etc.). Mutchler from University of Arizona, Anna Platonova from IOM Brussels, Salim Murad from EMMIR,&nbsp;Dusan Drbohlav from the Charles University Prague, Michal Vašečka from Masaryk University in Brno, Jiří Pehe from NUY Prague and others. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Summer School on Migration was part of the&nbsp;<a href="http://europa.eu/eyd2015/cs">European Year of Development 2015</a>&nbsp;(EYD2015). The project was supported by the European Commission and the Czech Development Agency in the framework of the Program for Foreign Development Cooperation. It was also funded&nbsp;by the U.S. Embassy in Prague within the Small Grants Program, &nbsp;and by the University of South Bohemia within the Institutional Development Program.</p>
